I kindly encourage you to glance over the paper before the meeting.
For those unfamiliar with the concept: at the biweekly meetings, willing participants present new research/publications/analyses that are interesting from their point of view. A short presentation is followed by a discussion, during which you can express your opinions, and comments, ask questions, etc. After the discussion, the meeting ends or another person presents the publication.
What is the purpose of such meetings? There are a couple of them:
1. to become more aware of what our colleagues' scientific interests are
2. to become better acquainted with the latest developments in our field
3. to boost motivation to keep up to date with current literature (mainly for early-stage academics).
