The main objective of the POLIMOS (European Space Agency) Measurement Campaign at the PolWET station in Rzecin (UPP) was to carry out unique passive and active remote observations (Raman lidar, cloud radar, photometer) and dedicated in-situ measurements (mass and energy exchange by the vortex covariance method) and meteorological measurements, allowing to assess the productivity of peatland ecosystems and their dependence on the presence of clouds and aerosols in the atmosphere.
The measurement campaign was conducted from June to August 2019. The project leader was Iwona Stachlewska, the task leader was Patryk Poczta and the participant was Dongxiang Wang.
