This bachelor thesis presents the situation of visually impaired people in Poland. It aims to illustrate the position of our country in relation to such people. I moved relevant legal aspects, as well as the level of assistance to people with low vision. The bachelor thesis was divided into three chapters that divide the scope of the subject in three different, so the bachelor thesis is more transparent and understandable.
