Since April 2017, under lead of Institute of Geophysics, Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw, several international activities related to scientific research and instrument development are carried out in the frame of the European Space Agency funded project POLIMOS, entitled 'Technical assistance for Polish Radar and Lidar Mobile Observation System'.
A modern multiwavelength mobile lidar was developed and installed in a collocation of various instruments at the PolWET site of Poznań University of Life Sciences. Measurements obtained using different kind of remote and in-situ sensors located onboard satellites and at the surface are combined and serve as an input the developed Integrated Atmosphere-Ecosystem Model. The model results will enable assessment of the impact of aerosols and clouds on the wetland ecosystem productivity.
During the seminar, I shall give an overview on current POLIMOS activities as well as present first results obtained during the POLIMOS-2018 Campaign.
