The crustal strain deformation provides a description of geodynamic processes such as intensity of ground surface deformation, as well as fault strain accumulation. These parameters are important for study and monitoring of different geodynamic processes such as anthropogenic deformation, seismic hazard assessment, geological processes, etc. Within this research the strain ellipse, rotation, maximum shear strain and area strain can be obtained using GNSS velocity values from CEGRN Network for Poland area. Comparison of the strain rates with the geological structure and fault types can also be performed.
