M-ERA.NET 2: Contest for materials science and material engineering
The National Science Center together with the M-ERA.NET 2 network invites you to participate in the competition for international research projects on materials science and materials engineering.
The competition covers the following topics:
Integrated computational materials engineering (ICME),
Innovative surfaces, coatings and interfaces,
High performance synthetic and biobased composites,
Functional materials,
Interfaces between materials and biological hosts for health applications,
Materials for additive manufacturing
Pre-proposals: June 14, 2016, 12.00 Central European Time
Research groups of at least 3 scientific teams from at least 2 countries participating in the competition may be eligible for funding: a list of countries.
The M-ERA network includes both the National Science Center and the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR). NCNs may be requested by Polish scientists whose projects meet the basic research criteria (TRL 1-4). Participation of industrial partner from Poland is not required.
NCB applications may be submitted, starting with TRL 3-6 and ending with TRL 5-8. Participation of a Polish industrial partner is required.
The competition consists of two stages. In the first stage, a preliminary application should be made. pre-proposal. Projects qualified for the second stage will be invited to submit a full application, Full proposal The deadline for submitting full applications is 10 November 2016. 12.00 Central European Time.
The budget of the Polish part of the project should be calculated in accordance with the catalog of eligible costs (Council Resolution No. 84/2015, pp. 5-12). In particular, we ask you to familiarize yourself with the regulations on remuneration in the following projects: p. 2.1, p. 6-9.
At the full proposal stage, applicants from Poland will be required to complete a detailed cost estimate for the project.
