The candidates have to conform to the conditions stated in art. 109 of Higher Education Law dated 27.07.2005. (uniform text: Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland 2016, item 1842 with further amendments).

The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence in both introductory and advanced courses in his degree discipline. The teaching duties are at the level of 210 hours per academic year.

We offer full-time 30 months long job contract. Research, teaching and organizational activities of the successful candidate will be regularly evaluated according to the law.

We seek a candidate with a strong research record within the scope of interest of Information Optics Department at Institute of Geophysics (Faculty of Physics, Univ. of Warsaw), in the field of photonics and biophotonics, optometry.

The candidate should also have experience as a scientific team leader.

The requirements:

The candidate should have an experience in numerical modelling of photonic structures, experimental work in optics, microoptics development technologies and biophotonics.

The entire procedure will be concluded before June 6, 2018. The candidate might be asked for an interview with the commission appointed by the Dean of the Faculty.
