This thesis focuses on dyslexia—a specific learning disorder—and its association with dysfunctions of visual functions. The etiological section outlines various theories explaining its origins, including the phonological, genetic, cerebellar deficit, and sensory integration disorders, emphasizing the complex, multifactorial nature of the condition. It then describes the visual functions assessed in the participants—visual acuity, accommodative parameters, eye movements, and binocular vision. The study procedure is presented, along with the questionnaires and tests administered. The final part of the thesis is devoted to case studies. The collected measurements were analysed both in short segments and as a whole.
