Filtration of spatial frequencies in the 4f correlator system in the analysis of medical images

The thesis covers issues introducing to the subject of medical image analysis based on the filtration of spatial frequencies and correlation. The introduction explains the basic concepts of Fourier optics. Then, a simple optical correlator system was built, allowing the filtration of spatial frequencies. The principle of operation of the optical four-focal correlator is discussed.
