The thesis made on the basis of available literature. The first chapter describes the basic visual defects: myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. It also presents methods of their correction. The second and third chapter present a problem known as anisometropia and aniseikonia. There are methods of detection and correction, prevalence, accompanying symptoms and reasons for its emergence described. The thesis also includes illustrations in order to better illustrate the problem.
