Summary of eye screening tests carried out on a group of 451 children aged 6 and 7 attending kindergartens and schools. Studies have been conducted under the patronage of the National Institute of Public Health, by students of Optics and Optometry supervised by lecturers of the University of Warsaw. It took place in Warsaw, in 2016 and 2017. The results of visual aculity and visual aculity with plus lens test have been analysed. It shows that over 51% of girls and over 41% of boys have reduced visual aculity. Over 68% of girls and 65% of boys will be probably dealing with myopia in future.
