Microphysical structure of shallow convective clouds of the trade wind region was investigated basing on the airborne measurements from the RICO experiment. The influence of mixing processes on the micro and macroscale properties of the cloudy field was shown. In the macroscale humidity variation caused by the mixing processes were described. In microscale concentration and volume radius spectra were analysed.
