The objective of this paper is to present ocular diseases treatment with contact lenses as drug delivery system. Contact lenses use for ocular drug delivery was proposed in several diseases like glaucoma, ocular infections, dry eye syndrome, corneal injuries, corneal neovascularization and allergic conjunctivitis. Studies provide promising effects of the use of contact lenses as a carrier of drugs.
