You are invited to participate in a free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC): ‘Atmospheric Research Infrastructures: Sharing The Future of Our Atmosphere’, delivered as part of the ATMO-ACCESS project - Ensuring Sustainable Access to Distributed Atmospheric Research Infrastructures, ATMO-ACCESS.

Registration for the course begins on 2 December 2024, with the course itself starting on 20th January 2025. Both registration and the course will be delivered through the FUN - France Université Numérique platform. To participate in the course, you must have an undergraduate level in science and a basic level in general chemistry. The course, taught in English, will run for 2 weeks, requiring a commitment of approximately 4 hours. It covers air pollution and climate change with its material. The importance of atmospheric research will also be highlighted and the structure of the three key research infrastructures, i.e. ACTRIS, IAGOS, and ICOS, will be described. As part of the delivery of the MOOC, you can choose to attend only the core sections of the MOOC or explore detailed, additional material. Weekly and at the end of each section participants will need to fill in the questionnaires with multiple-choice questions, testing participants' knowledge and acquired practical skills. Participants who successfully end the course and fill all quizzes (67% correct answers required in the final quiz) will receive (free of charge) an achievement badge. The mentioned badge is a digital tool that proves the knowledge and skills acquired. Technically, it is represented by a digital image that links to information about the issuing organization (such as an establishment or platform), the criteria for obtaining the badge, and details about the recipient, as well as a community of all recipients. This badge can be placed on a CV or shared on professional social networks.
