ATMO-ACCESS TNA - 3rd call for access
ATMO-ACCESS TNA 3rd call 10 Oct 2022 - 5 Jan 2023
ATMO-ACCESS provides access to 52 of the leading European atmospheric research facilities. A full list can be found at https://www.atmo-access.eu/facilities/ and any of these can be accessed within the current call. In addition, we can provide the option of remote access to services within the infrastructure. Remote access can enable the users to work with the service providers to direct the research without needing to attend the facility.
Access to any of the ATMO-ACCESS facilities is provided for users with no charges for use of the infrastructure, instrumentation, or expert support. Users may benefit from a contribution to support some of their accommodation and travel costs.
Applications for access within the call are available via the PASS Platform. You will be asked to provide a short proposal outlining what you would like to do, the problem it addresses, and how it is linked to your ongoing activities. You will also be asked which funds you can count on for the travels in addition to ATMO-ACCESS’s partial contribution and how access to the ATMO-ACCESS infrastructure will enable progress that would otherwise have not been possible.
Access to a new and unconventional use of the facilities, which favors an effective combination of the research interest, knowledge, and resources of the user and the facility staff is strongly encouraged.
The application will be reviewed first by the Access Evaluation Panel and the final decision will be made by the Strategic TNA Board to ensure competitiveness in TNA allocation.

The Warsaw Observatory Station (WOS)
The Warsaw Observatory Station (WOS), which belongs to the ACTRIS Observational Platforms block, provides TNA in two types:
- Physical Access - coordinated by mgr Łucja Janicka
- Remote Access - coordinated by dr Dominika Szczepanik
https://www.atmo-access.eu/access-to-services/
The Warsaw Observatory Station (WOS) located in the urban agglomeration of Warsaw (lowlands of East-Central Europe) is a research facility of the Faculty of Physics at the Research University of Warsaw. This observational site, established in 2013, proved to be very active within the ACTRIS. It is composed of the main laboratories:
with collocated ground-based and elevated (25m) platforms and electronic workshops, optical clean rooms, seminars, and social rooms where users can deploy their own instruments. It is equipped with sensors providing information on aerosol optical properties and water vapour that permit measurements within the free troposphere and in the boundary layer over Warsaw.
